Tuesday 9th November, The Stumble Inn, Cannock

The Stumble Inn is a buzzing live music venue in Cannock. Great staff, great beer and a great crowd.
We were invited along to play a short set to a crowd mostly accustomed to blues and rock.

What a resounding success! The feet were tapping, the heads were nodding and the requests were flying in from all directions.

We started with a shot of 'One Step Beyond', followed immediately by 'The Prince'. Into a rendition of 'A message to you Rudy' with harmonica played impeccably by Phil (guitar), 'Monkey Man' (dedicated to wayne Rooney!!) and finally, 'Nightboat to Cairo'.

Time permitting, we would have happily gone on for the night!

Cannock, you've been a lovely audience. Thank you and goodnight.

We are now hoping to play there again soon

At The Roadhouse, Lifford Lane, Stirchley

Well.....we thought we'd blow out the cobwebs and go play the open mic at The Roadhouse (Monday nights, jam session, very very well organised).

Amidst a night of acoustic sets and blues guitar, we delivered a trio of heavy handed ska classics to an appreciative audience.

'I didn't know what to expect, but it wasn't that!" remarked the compere afterwards.

We will be playing at the open mic at The Stumble Inn, Cannock next Tuesday (9th November). Come and have a look, you may be converted forever!!

World Tour of the Midlands

On Friday 26th November we will be playing a charity gig somewhere in darkest Shirley (no we're not making references to dark Shirley. Sorry Shirl!), Birmingham, to raise money for the donkey sanctuary, swiftly followed on Saturday 27th as part of another charity event at The Boars Head (Taphouse) in Kidderminster.

More details to follow when we get them.

Our debut CD

Work is nearing completion on our much awaited (by us!!) demo CD. The band has spent the last 2 weeks recording, re-recording, mixing and mastering to get a finished product.

Lets hope the wait is worth it. The music is fab.

The Tower Of Song, July 30th 2010

Well, We arrived, we set up, we played.

Although the crowd was smallish, the atmosphere was electric.

The lights slowly dimmed, the P.A buzzed...
From the opening bars of One Step Beyond, the anticipation was apparent. We delivered. The audience lapped it up.

Straight into The Prince, Special Brew....the tracks flowed.

As the set progressed, the crowd warmed up and were soon dancing and having a great time.

Closing out with Nightboat to Cairo, we had them hooked. Shouts of 'moooooore' echoed around around the room. We didn't disappoint.

Photos were taken by our friend Lynne from Maria Lynne Photography. She is a diamond when it comes to being professional and unobtrusive. Thanks Lynne.
